Anissa Cordova is a psychotherapist and life coach with a PhD in Health Psychology, based in Colorado. She works with clients in Denver and across the United States, helping them break free from unhelpful patterns and develop healthier ways to manage stress and emotions. She is also certified in EMDR, a powerful therapy for processing trauma and emotional challenges.
Her career has taken an unconventional path, from leading bicycle tours across the western U.S. and Canada to providing therapy for people with cancer and their loved ones. She has also worked with families in the field of organ donation, deepening her understanding of grief, resilience, and personal transformation.
She is especially passionate about supporting individuals with chaotic lives—like busy moms—who struggle to prioritize self-care. Her approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on creating lasting change.
